Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Faroya Studio's website and to engagements you book with us. Specific projects may have additional terms in a signed scope of work — those override anything here that conflicts.

1. Use of this website

You may use this site for personal and business purposes. Don't try to break it, scrape it at scale, or impersonate us. We may suspend access if you do.

2. Quotes and scope

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Work begins when a 50% deposit is received and a written scope is approved. Out-of-scope changes are quoted separately before any extra work begins.

3. Revisions

Each engagement includes a defined number of revision rounds (specified in the scope). Additional rounds are billed hourly at our standard rate.

4. Deliverables and ownership

On final payment, you own the deliverables — final logos, design files, and code — outright. We retain the right to display non-confidential work in our portfolio unless an NDA says otherwise.

5. Source files

We deliver editable source files (Figma, Ai, code) on request. We don't hold work hostage — you can leave any time without losing access.

6. Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once work begins, since we block calendar time. If we cancel before starting, you're refunded in full. Mid-project cancellations are billed for time spent up to that point.

7. Confidentiality

We treat anything you share as confidential by default. NDAs available on request before the first conversation.

8. Liability

We do our best work, but software has bugs and design is subjective. Our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Accra, unless we both agree to mediation first.

10. Changes

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated version.
